This actually started out as a failed dish. I left my roast in the oven for too long and it was too dry. We noticed that it was really tender so I picked it apart and worked a bbq sauce in and it was pretty good. I will probably come back and try to upgrade this recipe, but it's not a bad starting point. Feel free to improvise on this one. Ingredients Beef Round Roast (or other roast) Vinegar Based BBQ Sauce (Glenn likes spicy) Ketchup Slice Roast into 1 to 2 inch slabs Lay slabs flat in a Pyrex dish and cover with aluminum foil Bake Roast at 300 for 3 to 4 hours Use knife and fork to cut and pull beef in the the smallest possible bits Toss in BBQ If too spicy add ketchup (Taryn likes ketchup added) |
